Soul Source Studio was created as a place to expand my capacity for others to join me on a mission to connect with a deeper healing potential that lies within each one of us. I am here to be a trained support and guide in taking responsibility for your deep healing, providing necessary information to assist with your understanding of how the body/mind/spirit work together, learning about strategies and tools to enhance your trust in yourself while on your healing journey, unwind and release stuck energy due to trauma and stress, and provide the scaffolding and reminders of your inherent strength, knowing, and worth. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I work to assist those in recognizing how their relationships with the people, places, experiences, and with one's self impact their current state of wellbeing and to support you in learning how to navigate these relationships in a healthier and more conscious way. As an energy practitioner, I expand this to also include working with and supporting the clearing of the residual energy and enhancing the supportive energy that has impacted our energy field from our various relationships seen or unseen as this too can also impact how we feel, think, react, the decisions we make, and the accessing of our healing potential. 

I am Angela Eischens. I am a MN Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, trauma trained Psychotherapist, trained in EMDR, Usui Reiki Master, and for fun happen to also create handmade Reiki Attuned Gemstone and Crystal Necklaces for fun (see my Etsy shop!) I have always been a seeker of truth and deeper knowing, incessantly seeking knowledge and understanding of what is occurring around us that we cannot always physically see but deeply feel, and reverently holding space for others to connect to the ever present Love that they are. My clinical training is deeply embedded in attachment theory, psychodynamic psychotherapy, developmental psychology, concepts of social learning, family systems work, person-centered and strength-based approaches, and interpersonal neurobiology concepts. My energy healer training and practice stem from the lineage of Mikao Usui, along with some of energy psychology, breathwork techniques, meditation concepts, mindfulness practices, shamanic study, and chakra healing and subtle energy approaches. My approach is holistic, integrative, and person-centered. 

Through Soul Source Studio I provide Reiki sessions, Therapy, Consultation, and Clinical Supervision for those seeking LMFT licensure in MN. I also periodically post my writing and my deep reflections to support your own reflecting and growth from time to time. Other significant ongoing training and interests: Nutrition is a very important addition to healing and I have delved deep into a nutritional healing journey that began in 2012 and have started to incorporate information from this into my practice. I have also found a love in healing through Dance - my favorites are Qoya, Nia, and Journey Dance. Meditation and breathwork are integral modalities of healing and true connection and are an ongoing part of my practice. I have completed a year of structured Shamanic study. Learning about all aspects of healing the body, mind, and spirit are important to me and my practice as a practitioner.

the origin of soul source studio

Soul Source Studio has been a creation after years and years of inner spiritual work (what I ultimately believe deep trauma healing work to be) along with a very intense, sometimes painful, process of personal spiritual awakening. Professionally, I continue a career as a professionally licensed psychotherapist, often working with individuals and families who have experienced traumatic and stressful circumstances. Personally, I too have a history of childhood trauma. To do this work, and do it well, I have had to learn to recognize, understand, and heal from my own trauma. I have come to believe that when we decide to truly heal from our trauma some of us are also lead on what I sometimes call a deep spiritual awakening that can often open us up to the deeper connection to all that is. I believe most of us often want to experience things like freedom, ease, and true genuine connection with others and with life. We want to truly feel seen, safe, and secure in our bodies, in our relationships, and in our lives. What we know now is that trauma stores in our bodies, deep in our DNA, and in our energy fields. These imprints direct the course of our lives until we decide to do something about it. Biologically we are wired to both always remember as well as to avoid the trauma or any emotions that remind us of that pain. We do this to survive. But we also need to learn how to Thrive. Living in Survival takes a toll on our health, our relationships, and prevent that deep sacred connection with the self. I am on a mission to always find ways to support others in connecting their source and foster a deeper sacred inner connection. When we create this deep reverent connection with our true essence, we feel that essence of Life Force Energy (some might call this God, Great Spirit, the Divine, Creation, Universal Energy, or Source). Life then has the potential to become Magical. But to make that connection we have to be able to fully feel it all, the Dark, the Light, and the LOVE. Our bodies and hearts are so overburdened by the various chronic stress and traumas of living in this Human body it has adapted to protecting itself at all costs. But I feel that all this stress has left us disconnected and numb in so many ways. I want to help support you in connecting You to YOU deeply so that you are better able to connect to ALL there is and finding a deep felt sense connection with yourself, with others, with the Life Force energy that we are (i.e. Source), and discovering and unfolding your own innate healing capacity.
