You’ve been to therapy before, you’re doing the work, but you can’t quite get there; to the root. Or you might have accessed the insight and awareness of what is at the core of your challenges but need help to integrate and embody the shifted awareness into your life. You might be ready to engage in therapy again but need that safe and grounded space to settle in a bit deeper and the patience to explore at your own pace.
I offer a warm, yet gently direct and containing space to explore the ongoing repeated cycles of challenges that present both within your life, your relationship with yourself, and relationships with others.
I specialize in therapy for adults navigating the long-term effects of childhood trauma, relational trauma, and chronic stress. Many of the people I work with are deeply caring, empathic, hard-working, intentional, capable people who have spent years adapting to difficult relational environments or navigating challenging circumstances. They are the deep feelers, often feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, anxious, and feeling burned out more often than they’d like. They may be experiencing cycles of anxiety, depression, stress, or learning of their own neurodivergence, experiencing spiritual awakening, or are spiritual seekers and begin having anomalous or unusual experiences that leave them feeling unsettled, confused, or afraid.
My therapeutic work is grounded in trauma-informed, attachment-focused therapy, somatic and depth psychology approaches; helping you to understand how your early experiences shape nervous system responses, relationships, and sense of self.
As a Reiki practitioner and practitioner trained to incorporate energy healing and other complementary or spirituality-based therapy and healing methods (sound, energy, and symbolic or insight oriented tools – divination tools), I may offer to integrate these when Clients are interested and it serves their goals for treatment during psychotherapy interventions as these methods can help us gain access to memory that often feels lost or inaccessible, as well as help us access states of safety in the body. These methods may not be of interest to everyone, and you may let me know at any moment.
I am trained in the following empirically grounded and/or evidence-based models of therapy within my practice: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, including the Early Trauma Protocol), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and CPP (Child-Parent Psychotherapy – ages 0-6 with their caregivers when a trauma has occurred).

Other significant ongoing training and interests: Nutrition is a very important addition to healing and I have delved deep into a nutritional healing journey that began in 2012 and have started to incorporate information from this into my practice. I have also found a love in healing through Dance - my favorites are Qoya, Nia, and Journey Dance. Meditation and breathwork are integral modalities of healing and true connection and are an ongoing part of my practice. I have completed one year of structured Shamanic study. I continue to engage in ongoing learning in the areas of EMDR, IFS, and the integration of Spirituality and neuroscience within these models of treatment. I have completed 3 advanced levels of energetic channeling training with Nadine and Franciose Dassier of EnergyWorks Healers, LLC. Learning about all aspects of healing the body, mind, and spirit are important to me and my practice as a practitioner.

the origin of soul source studio
Soul Source Studio has been a creation after years and years of inner spiritual work (what I ultimately believe deep trauma healing work to be) along with a very intense, sometimes painful, process of personal spiritual awakening. Professionally, I continue a career as a professionally licensed psychotherapist, often working with individuals and families who have experienced traumatic and stressful circumstances. Personally, I too have a history of childhood trauma. To do this work, and do it well, I have had to learn to recognize, understand, and heal from my own trauma. I have come to believe that when we decide to truly heal from our trauma some of us are also lead on what I sometimes call a deep spiritual awakening that can often open us up to the deeper connection to all that is. I believe most of us often want to experience things like freedom, ease, and true genuine connection with others and with life. We want to truly feel seen, safe, and secure in our bodies, in our relationships, and in our lives. What we know now is that trauma stores in our bodies, deep in our DNA, and in our energy fields. These imprints direct the course of our lives until we decide to do something about it. Biologically we are wired to both always remember as well as to avoid the trauma or any emotions that remind us of that pain. We do this to survive. But we also need to learn how to Thrive. Living in Survival takes a toll on our health, our relationships, and prevent that deep sacred connection with the self. I am on a mission to always find ways to support others in connecting to their source of strength and foster a deeper sacred inner connection. When we create this deep reverent connection with our true essence, we feel that essence of Life Force Energy (some might call this God, Great Spirit, the Divine, Creation, Universal Energy, Source, or Higher Self). Life then has the potential to become Magical, Playful, or more Freely Flowing. But to make that connection we have to be able to fully feel it all, the Dark, the Light, and the LOVE. Our bodies and hearts can become so overburdened by the various chronic stress and traumas of living in this Human body it has adapted to protecting itself at all costs. But I feel that all this stress has left us disconnected, exhausted, or numb in so many ways. I want to help support you in connecting You to YOU deeply so that you are better able to connect to ALL there is and finding a deep felt sense connection with yourself, with others, with the Life Force energy that we are (i.e. Source), and discovering and unfolding your own innate healing capacity.
